Babar Azam created history in the 3rd T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand on Sunday (April 21) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in the city of Rawalpindi and set a massive world record in his third match on his return to the captaincy of the Men in Green.

After New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl first, Babar and Saim Ayub put up a quick-fire 55-run partnership. Ayub made a 22-ball 32 to ensure the hosts made the most of the powerplay. Babar played a knock of 37 runs in 29 balls before being dismissed by Michael Bracewell.

Pakistan ended up with a hefty score of 178 on the board in their 20 overs. Shadab Khan's 20-ball 41 gave the hosts the perfect finish, while Irfan Khan also played a handy cameo of 30 runs in 20 balls.
